Unshakable Hope

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)

“God is…”

Love love these verses … having just undergone a huge trial where I was blessed to experience the true presence of our Lord and know that He sees and cares. May God continue to bless you.

  4. Thank you for taking the time and trouble it took to gather these verses together. They are encouragement amid the turmoil of the world.

  5. Your testimony of God’s hope and of who He is to you is very encouraging, Bill. His Word indeed stands true and as the Psalmist says, “God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.” May the Lord continue to strengthen you and that you be a blessing to others. Thank you for liking some of my poems.

  6. Because I am not… God is… because God is… I am. This is encouraging and a helpful reference to remind us of what an awesome -yet intimately loving-God we serve. Thank you Bill!

  15. Thank you for your wonderful post! Knowing God is everything. I want to recommend a CD about the names of God that complements your post. It’s called “I AM: 365 Names of God” by John Paul Jackson and Graham Ord. Graham Ord provides the background music while John Paul Jackson speaks the names of God. If I could only have one CD in the world, this would be the one. Hearing the names of God will take you into the realm of the Almighty where “nothing is too difficult for God.”

The CD with music and names of God combined is rarely on Amazon. The best place to get the CD is from John Paul Jackson’s Web site: http://www.streamsministries.com. God bless you.
